Sweet Baby Girl

Mommy & Zoey

Fishing with Grandpa Jim @ Mantua

This was a really fun fishing trip. Dad took me, Brad, Zoey and Mick out on his boat on Mantua. We fished for about 4 hours and caught over 30 bluegill! We could hardly keep our poles in the water for 5 minutes before we'd have a fish. It was Zoey's first fishing trip and she loved it. Mick got to drive the boat and he even docked it by himself!

Bear Lake

Here are some fun pics of when we went to Bear Lake with the Petersons. The goofy, I mean cool guy on the water-skis is Ryan, Brad's brother-in-law. We had kind of a crazy incident on the beach. All of the adults were just sitting, chilling out on the beach, and the kids were out swimming in the lake. Well they got the brilliant idea to sit on the edge of a boat that was anchored out in the water. We hollered at them to get off, but at the same time, some guy comes up and stands right in front of us and said, "At what point is it okay for your kids to get in someone elses car?" Come to find out, it was his boat the kids were sitting on the edge of and he was pissed!! We apologized, but he yelled at us and said, "That isn't good enough!" Well, that was the wrong thing to say. All of the men got right in his face and told him that it certainly was good enough and he needed to leave. While they were basically escorting this jerk off our beach, his wife comes up, tells us we are rude, and kicked sand in me and Dax's face (mind you, Dax is 3). At the time, I thought Zoey was laying beside me, but Jill had picked her up during the ruckus. So, thinking she had kicked sand on my baby, I went after her and I was going to take her down, but Jane restrained me. Looking back it was a pretty funny incident that we can all laugh about now, but I tell you what, my mother bear instincts went into high gear and I was going to have this lady for lunch!

Timpanogas Cave

This past July we took the kids down to Provo and hiked Timpanogas cave. It was a lot of fun and the boys and Zoey were awesome hikers, Brad did good too :).
